My wife and I visited Gumbo Limbo after reading a trip advisor review and were thrilled with our experience. They have three large tanks full of fish and the volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The highlight of the visit was chatting with the folks who are nursing sick or injured sea turtles back to health.

My husband and I just happened upon this little nature center. It’s wonderful. They help injured sea animals. They have a nice walking trail. Everyone one there are very knowledgeable. My favorite were the sea turtles. If you have kids they will LOVE IT!

Wonderful and informative place to visit for a couple hours. This place is run by the city and volunteers who do a great job. It is well worth the $5 suggested donation. The aquarium was amazing, my children really enjoyed it. They also loved the butterfly garden and the boardwalk, where they got to identify.

Kids loved this place. Lots of fish and turtles to see. kids tell everyone they visited the “sea turtle hospital”. The volunteers are great and explain the animals well. This is a must if headed to this area of Florida.
