Jacksonville is a very large city located in northeast of Florida. There are many wonderful places here for the purpose of family recreation and fun. If you are looking for a place other than Orlando and Miami, where you can have most fun then Jacksonville, is an ideal place and Florida Shuttle Transportation could be the best option for ground transportation. In this blog you will read five best reviews about Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens in Florida.
Tallytennis11 from Tallahassee says:
A gem of a zoo in an unexpected place. This zoo has most of it’s limited space devoted to exhibiting the residents in a natural environment. Watch elephants, rhinos, giraffes , and great apes among others as they roam enclosures that resemble their natural environment. The zoo train is a neat way to see the entire complex.
bronsmel from Michigan says:
We visited the Jacksonville Zoo with our four children (ages 6-13) and had a very nice time. The zoo is small enough to enjoy in a partial day which we prefer as we’d rather not leave exhausted. We also took advantage of our reciprocal membership (from our home zoo) and received discounted admission. We especially loved the giraffes.
carla7984 from Jacksonville, Florida says:
The zoo is a wonderful way to spend the day gazing upon the beautiful animals that are in this world. The cheetahs are my personal favorites, but there are every type of animal to enjoy. Feeding the giraffes is great fun. Even the creepy crawlies are something to behold. It is a great day to spend with the kids.
Edgar B says:
You’ll find some cool animals there. I liked it in general, however my principal advice would be to not take the train, it’s a waste of time and money as the train tour rounds the back part of the zoo, so you’ll see practically nothing. Once you hop off from the train, the zoo is very good.
lrizzo2001 from Malverne, New York says:
Took our 2 nieces ages 3 and 10. Zoo is really big and laid out really well. For the most part the animals seem to have an adequate size area. Some seem to be way to small, for example, the alligator snapping turtle was about 1/4 the size of the tank.
